Every person was born with a purpose, something special they were destined to be, something they were destined to do.
We must come to realize that the biggest obstacle we all face to living the life we are ment to live is getting over our fears. Fear sucks, it has stopped me from starting this platform for many years.
I waited for the fear to pass. But the more we wait the bigger the fear gets. So, the bad news is the fear doesn't pass so we have to start doing what we are called to do while we are still afraid.
Don't Let Negative Thoughts Stop You
Some of the thoughts we have that get in our way are:
These negative thoughts are all lies we tell ourselves. This is what the great Zig Ziglar called "Stinking Thinking."
Franklin D. Roosevelt coined the phrase "We have nothing to fear but fear itself."
Ralph Waldo Emerson was famous for saying "Do the Thing You Fear and the Death of Fear Is Certain."
From experience I know this last quote is so true, because as I began writing and building my business it just seemed to be all that I envisioned it would be.
Things just began falling into place. The next obvious step presented itself in its own perfect timing.
I love a quote by Dilber creator Scott Adams "Success caused passion more than passion caused success"
In the begining of building my business I didn't have the passion I thought would be required to build a huge Health and Wealth business. I didn't think I had the passion to inspire and influence people to read my posts or join my business.
But I eventually I just took the first step, and then the next, and then the next, until my fear began subsiding and my passion for doing what I was doing began to grow.
And now I realize if I take a step, monitor my results, and make adjustments everything is going to work out for the best.
Avoid Regret
One of the biggest revelations I had that kept me from actually giving up, was when I gave myself permission to just give up on my purpose because it didn't really matter to me or anyone else.
I knew this was the biggest lie I ever told myself. Because in my gut I knew I didn't want to someday look back and realize that quitting would be the biggest regret of my life.
